An autopsy performed Friday on a 22-year-old mother of three has confirmed she died of a blunt force trauma consistent with a fall from a moving vehicle.
Police were treating the woman's death as suspicious after she was found early Wednesday morning in a parking lot on Eglinton Avenue East.
Investigators are speculating if her death was a result of love triangle that took a deadly turn after the woman's 38-year-old common-law partner found her with another man at a motel.
Police say the woman was dragged outside and ended up in front of an apartment building on Birchmount Road and Eglinton Avenue, across from a police station.
The suspect was arrested at the scene and has been charged with two counts of attempted murder, two counts of aggravated assault, assault with a weapon and weapons dangerous.
The identities of the victim and the accused are being withheld.
