Police in Bermuda are searching for a missing Canadian tourist after he was last seen near a resort in the west part of the islands.

Bermuda Police Service say William Grange, 67, was last seen on Friday evening near the Cambridge Beach resort. A land-and-sea search has since been conducted and officers have also canvassed all the islands’ ports of entry. Police say Grange "has not officially left the island."

Locating "Grange is a critical priority for the service and we are appealing for the public's assistance in locating him," police said in a statement.

Grange, who suffers from short-term memory loss, is a retired lawyer from Napanee, Ont., Bernews reported on Tuesday.

He is described as white and was last seen wearing beige pants, a blue shirt, a brown jacket and a pair of brown shoes. He has white hair and is 5'9' tall.
