BARRIE, Ont. -- Police in Barrie, Ont., have charged the owner of an escort agency with drug offences involving prescription pills.

Officers searched a property (on Snowy Owl Crescent) Sunday night and say they seized an undisclosed quantity of OxyContin.

Police allege the man was selling the highly addictive painkiller while wearing an electronic ankle monitor for previous convictions.

They say the search also netted marijuana and $4,000 in cash.

The 41-year-old suspect is charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking, possession and breach of conditional sentence order.
