LOS ANGELES - Authorities in Los Angeles have released a heartbreaking 911 call made by the mother of Canadian-born actor Corey Haim.

Hundreds of friends, relatives and fans gathered in a Toronto funeral home Tuesday for a memorial the former teen icon.

Judy Haim is heard on the 911 tape saying, "Oh my God, I think my son is dead."

She spent 10 minutes on the phone with a fire department dispatcher as she tried to perform CPR on her son's lifeless body.

Haim died in a Los Angeles-area hospital after suffering flu-like symptoms that included an enlarged heart and water in his lungs.

A coroner is awaiting results of toxicology tests on the body of the 38-year-old actor before determining a cause of death.
