A suspect in a violent Brampton home invasion last week has been identified by police.

Shevon Bailey, a 21-year-old man of no fixed address, is wanted for first degree murder in connection with the slaying of Brampton resident George Kalogerakis.

Kalogerakis, 38, was stabbed some time after 1 a.m. on Nov. 12 while inside his home on Earth Star Trail. He succumbed to his injuries in hospital.

Police believe that the incident began when three armed men burst into the Brampton home looking for drugs. Kalogerakis, who lived at the home with his mother, was attacked during the break-in and became Peel Region's 18th murder victim of the year, police say.

An 18-year-old suspect, Isaac Kwakye, was arrested over the weekend and charged with first-degree murder.

Police are warning the public not to approach the other suspects as they are considered to be armed and dangerous.

A Canada-wide arrest warrant has been issued for Bailey, who is also known on the street as "Pops" and "Shankie." Authorities believe he is staying in the Greater Toronto Area.

The man is described as being black, about 5'10" tall and 160 lbs.
