A Mississauga man has been charged with murder after a young father was stabbed to death in Toronto's west end early Friday morning.

Khadeem Antoine, 19, was stabbed several times in Tom Riley Park around 12:30 a.m. Friday.

Police said Antoine, the father of a young boy, managed to call 911 before collapsing. He was rushed to hospital but later succumbed to his injuries.

Late Friday night, police arrested 18-year-old Brian Mendonca. He has been charged with first-degree murder.
