Police have arrested a 25-year-old man in connection with a fatal shooting at a Brampton home over the weekend.
The shooting occurred at a home on Newby Court late last Sunday evening.
Officers found a man suffering "obvious signs of trauma" from a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
The victim has been identified as 23-year-old Richard Forbes of Brampton.
Police have arrested Terence Everet Watson in connection with Forbes' death. He has been charged with second-degree murder.
It is not yet clear if the two young men knew one another or what led police to make the arrest.
Watson is scheduled to appear in a Brampton court on Tuesday.
