Toronto police say they have arrested a man who is accused of spying on women at school campuses and public shopping areas in Mississauga and Toronto.

Police allege women were watched through their windows as they undressed in their student residence rooms at Humber College and the University of Toronto campus in Mississauga.

Police accuse the suspect of using binoculars to watch the women while he sat in his car and of trying to take pictures of these women on two occasions.

Between December 2009 and October 2010, police say the suspect visited the Humber College residence at 3199 Lakeshore Boulevard West, as well as a University of Toronto, Mississauga campus residence at 3359 Mississauga Road.

In downtown Toronto, police say the suspect allegedly used a cellphone and hidden camera to film underneath women's skirts in changerooms, stairwells and bathrooms in the Eaton Centre and the Scotia Bank Plaza.

Erik Villumsen, of Mississauga, faces six charges of voyeurism, a mischief charge and a criminal harassment charge. Police have released his photo to media.

Police believe there may be other victims who have not spoken to investigators.
