Ontario's Alcohol and Gaming Commission is investigating at least three bars in Belleville suspected of serving a young man accused in a double murder.

Lisa Murray of the AGCO said Wednesday that it has received information that Dean Brown, 18, may have been drinking at an establishment known as the Cabaret, another unidentified bar and a third place that has been identified as Matt and Joe's.

The legal drinking age in Ontario is 19.

Brown has been charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting deaths of Tracy Hannah, 46, and her daughter Whitney, 14.

They were found dead in their Mountain View home on Friday. The small community is about a 12-minute drive south of Belleville.

Shannon Hannah, 18, is recovering in hospital from wounds she suffered in the incident. Brown is facing a charge of attempted murder in her case.

Brown is scheduled to appear in court this coming Monday.

No allegations against Brown have been proven in a court of law.
