A list of the top 10 Ontario public sector earners

TORONTO -- Ontario's so-called Sunshine List of public sector salaries of $100,000 and more was published Wednesday. Here are the 10 highest earners from 2018:

1. Jeffrey Lyash, president and CEO of Ontario Power Generation, made $1,746,824.

2. Daren Smith, president and chief investment officer of the University of Toronto Asset Management Corporation, made $989,308.

3. Glenn Jager, nuclear president and chief nuclear officer of OPG, made $962,749.

4. Mark Fuller, president and CEO of the Ontario Public Service Pension Board, made $803,552.

5. Michael Apkon, who left the Hospital for Sick Children in the fall as president and CEO, made $792,571.

6. Sean Granville, chief nuclear officer at OPG, made $774,054.

7. Dietmar E. Reiner, senior vice president of nuclear projects at OPG, made $766,192.

8. Stephen Rigby, president and CEO of the Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corp., made $765,406.

9. William Reichman, president and CEO of Baycrest Centre for Geriatric Care, made $722,875.

10. Andy Smith, president and CEO of Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, made $714,999.
