Eglinton Avenue continues to be closed in both directions between Glenhaven Street and Richardson Avenue, near the intersection with Keele Street. Metrolinx is doing emergency work on the Eglinton Crosstown LRT project, after crews became concerned about the risk of a sinkhole. The street is expected to reopen before the Monday afternoon commute.

With Blue Jays pitcher Marco Estrada scratched from starting due a minor injury, Roberto Osuna took over and impressed. The Jays won 3-0 over the Tampa Bay Rays. The next spring training game is on Tuesday in Florida.
For the Toronto Raptors, it was DeMar DeRozan who impressed. He scored 23 points in a 106-89 win over the New York Knicks. The Raps’ next game is on Tuesday in Detroit.

Line 3, the Scarborough RT, turns 30 years old today. It was only meant to last 30 years, but the TTC is refurbishing cars so that it can run for another 10 years, until a planned subway replaces the line. Two newly overhauled trains are being unveiled Monday.
