Five family members have been charged after police say they found more than $75,000 worth of stolen goods.

Toronto Police say the case involved “a series of thefts from across the province.”

The five – who share the same family name – were charged on Monday morning after thefts from “major department stores” in the Jane Street and Finch Avenue West area, according to police.

Margorzata Zakrzewska, 53, and Pawel Zakrzewska, 57, are both charged with theft under $5,000 and possession of property obtained by a crime over $5,000.

Marta Zakrzewska, 32, Sandra Zakrzewska, 25, and Zaklina Zakrzewska, 28, all face charges of possession of property obtained by a crime over $5,000.

Police believe there may be more victims.
