Toronto police have charged two additional suspects with first-degree murder in connection with a fatal shooting in northwest Toronto earlier this month.

Yusuf Ahmed, 21, died after he suffered multiple gunshot wounds in the daylight shooting outside a building near Weston and Albion roads on Aug. 12.

Later that afternoon, police stopped a vehicle and arrested three suspects after officers viewed surveillance video from apartment buildings near the scene.

The suspects, 19-year-old Emmanuel Ansha and two youths, were subsequently charged with first-degree murder in connection with the shooting.

On Friday, police announced that two additional men had been arrested earlier in the week.

Yasin Abdulle, 18, of Toronto, was arrested on Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder. He was scheduled to appear in court yesterday.

On Thursday, 21-year-old Michael Monney was also arrested and charged with first-degree murder. He was scheduled to appear in court Friday.
