PLATTSVILLE, Ont. -- A two vehicle accident in southwest Ontario has left one man dead.
Ontario Provincial Police say two vehicles collided on Saturday night in the community of Plattsville, northeast of Woodstock.
One man died and a woman was airlifted to hospital with serious injuries.
Police say a third man, 38-year-old Jeffrey De La Penotiere of Bright, faces three charges in connection with the accident, including impaired operation of a motor vehicle causing death.
The suspect is being held in custody pending a bail hearing.
It's not clear when the court appearance will occur.
