Police are searching for one female and two male suspects after a woman was stabbed three times in Hamilton, Ont., Tuesday night.
The woman, believed to be in her 40s, suffered serious injuries and was rushed to hospital. She is in stable condition.
Police say the attack appears to have been targeted. It happened in the Barton Street East and Elgin Street area at approximately 7:15 p.m.
Police believe the suspects are known to the victim.
