Police are searching for two suspects after a woman was sexually assaulted in Richmond Hill early Saturday morning.

The woman told police she was walking in the Crosby Avenue area, west of Newkirk Avenue, between midnight and 1 a.m. when she was approached by two men she did not know.

The men threw her on the ground, police said, looked through her belongings and then sexually assaulted her.

The suspects were described as 16 to 25-year-old men with thin builds. They were around five-foot-eight to five-foot-ten and they were wearing dark clothes and hoodies.

Police are asking anyone who may have surveillance cameras in the area the check the video footage to see if it may have captured images of the suspects.
