Above-seasonal temperatures are expected for Toronto as students head into March Break.

On Saturday, temperatures hit 17 C, setting a new record as the warmest March 12 recorded in Toronto. The previous record was set on March 12, 2006 at 16.3 C.

Temperatures are expected to hover around the 10 C mark for the rest of the week, with periods of raining starting on Monday until Friday.

The stretch of warm weather began earlier this week when temperatures soared into the double digits.
