Police have identified a man who was fatally shot in Toronto's west end on Monday evening.
Two men were shot at approximately 6:45 p.m., in the Eglinton Avenue West and Jane Street area.
Olatoyebi Waheed, 24, died of a gunshot wound to the chest. The second man is being treated in hospital.
Police said there were "numerous witnesses" at the time of the shooting, and ask anyone with information to contact police at 416-808-7400, or call Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-8477 (TIPS).
