Two arrested after man stabbed near Fallsview Casino

Two people from Toronto were arrested after a man was stabbed at a nightclub in downtown Niagara Falls early Sunday morning.

Niagara Regional Police responded to a disturbance call at the Dragonfly Nightclub on Fallsview Avenue, near Fallsview Casino, at around 1:10 a.m. and found a man suffering from stab wounds on the street outside.

He was rushed to Hamilton General Hospital with wounds to his neck and chest and remains in serious condition.

Officers recovered a knife at the scene.

Officers arrested a man and a woman at the scene and continue to investigate whether others were involved.

Officers from Niagara Regional Police's Casino Patrol and the Major Crime Unit would like to speak with anyone who witnessed this incident.
