A man in his 40s is facing charges as part of a child pornography investigation led by Toronto police.

On Thursday morning, officers executed a search warrant at a home in the area of Eglinton and Oakwood Avenues.

"It is alleged that a man was possessing, accessing and making available child pornography over the Internet," police said in a statement.

Police have not said what evidence was seized, but said that the search resulted in the arrest of a 45-year-old man.

David Reeks, of Toronto, has been charged with accessing and possession of child pornography. He has also been charged with making child pornography available.
