Toronto cracked another record high Thursday with a temperature of 25.5 C as of 3 p.m.
The sunny day shattered the old record of 24.4 C, set back in 1938, according to Environment Canada.
It was so warm, that Toronto was just 0.1 degree shy of breaking the all-time record for March, which still stands at 25.6 C.
The warm temperatures were felt throughout southern Ontario, with posted highs of 27 C in Hamilton and 28 C in Windsor.
Average temperatures on March 22 are a high of 5.4 C and a low of -3.9 C.
Thursday likely marks the end of the summer-like conditions, at least for now.
Environment Canada predicts that things will cool off and cloud over in the evening, with a high of just 16 C under cloudy skies on Friday.
The weekend will likely be wet and more spring-like, with rain and a high of 8 C on Saturday and more rain and a high of 14 C on Sunday.
