A 16-year-old who was stabbed in the chest on Augusta Avenue Wednesday afternoon was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries.

Police said they were on the scene of a stabbing shortly after 3:30 p.m.

The male victim had vital signs and was taken to hospital with what paramedics described as life-threatening injuries.

Police said the suspect, another teen, fled down Oxford Street.

Police said they are looking for a black male between 16 and17 years old who was wearing a grey long-sleeved shirt.
