Police have arrested a 17-year-old boy after gunfire erupted at a Toronto Community Housing complex in Etobicoke on Friday.
The incident occurred at approximately 8:45 p.m. in the area of Scarlett Road and Scarlettwood Court.
Officers recovered a gun at the scene. The motive or intended target of the shooting is still unclear.
The suspect, whose identity is protected under the Youth Criminal Justice Act, has been charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm and discharging a firearm recklessly.
