A male is expected to survive after he was stabbed multiple times outside a bar in Whitby early Saturday morning.

He was one of three men stabbed overnight in the GTA.

Durham police say the male was stabbed in the face and shoulder after a fight broke in the Brock and Dundas Streets area, at around 1:40 a.m.

Police are searching for a male suspect who is described as a 5'8" tall, with long dreadlocks.

The suspect was last spotted running on Dundas Street, according to police.

Stabbing in Etobicoke

A male was also stabbed in Etobicoke, just north of Highway 401, Friday evening around 10:30 p.m.

It happened in the Shendale Drive and Albion Road area, according to Toronto paramedics.

Toronto police confirmed the stabbing but did not provide further details.

Stabbing in North York

A third male was stabbed on Saturday morning near in North York.

It happened in the Dufferin Street and Steeles Avenue West, according to paramedics.

Toronto Paramedics Services say they transported a male with a stab wound to the abdomen to a trauma centre around 9 a.m.

Police later said his wounds were not life-threating.

They have not yet made any arrests or released a description of the suspects related to that incident.

There is no indication the stabbings are related.
