Durham police say a 22-year-old student was stabbed on the Durham College campus in Oshawa on Wednesday.

Police say the victim was stabbed inside a building on campus near a Tim Hortons after a dispute broke out between him and another male.

Police are looking for a suspect who left the area of the stabbing. He is described as having brown skin, a medium build, about 5’8” to 5’10” tall, wearing dark-coloured pants, a button-up dress shirt. He was carrying a backpack.

The victim was transported to hospital with life-threatening injuries.
