Stolen food bank truck recovered in Toronto

TORONTO - The Daily Bread Food Bank in Toronto has found a truck it says was stolen Thursday night at around 11 p.m.

A police officer found the truck only a few kilometres away from the food bank.

Executive director Gail Nyberg says she's angry someone would steal a truck that helps the bank deliver food to those who need it most.

The food bank says the 5-ton truck would have cost $150,000 to replace.

  The Daily Bread Food Bank has a steady supply of food donations in the past month, but staff say more cash is needed to reach their goal of $250,000 by the end of April.
