Southbound traffic along the Don Valley Expressway was at a standstill on Friday after a multi-vehicle crash closed all lanes of traffic.
Toronto police said 11 cars were involved in the crash, which occurred south of Eglinton Avenue at around 6:30 a.m. Toronto EMS provided assistance at the scene but no one was taken to hospital.
At one point, southbound traffic was backed up for nearly one kilometre as police cleared the chaotic scene.
Toronto police reopened the highway to traffic shortly before 8 a.m.
