A 20-year-old man has been charged with first-degree murder in the death of his 62-year-old father in Richmond Hill, police say.
Shortly before noon on Friday, police responded to reports of an injured person at a home in the area of Bayview Avenue and Highway 7.
Investigators say they located a deceased victim when they arrived. The cause of death has yet to be determined.
The suspect is set to appear in court on Saturday.
Police have not released the identities of the suspect or victim to protect any possible witnesses.
