An employee of a ski and snowboard school near Peterborough has died in a skiing accident, according to the resort where the school is located.
Devil’s Elbow Ski Area in Bethany, Ont., said that a 64-year-old employee of the Kawartha Ski and Snowboard School died on Saturday, after an accident “while making a warm-up run.”
Kawartha Lakes OPP are conducting an investigation, according to a statement from the resort.
“We are deeply saddened by this event and express our condolences to the family and friends of the deceased,” Devil’s Elbow said in a statement released via Twitter.
The man’s name has not been released.
