Three people were sent to hospital after two unrelated stabbing incidents in Scarborough and in Kensington Market overnight.

Police said two men have been arrested after a man was stabbed in the neck at about 4 a.m. in Kensington Market, near College and Augusta Streets.

The victim was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Officers said charges are pending, and it is not yet known if the victim and suspects are known to each other.

Double stabbing in Scarborough

In a separate incident, police received a call about a double stabbing near Firvalley Court, near Warden Avenue and Danforth Road at about 5 a.m.

According to officers, an argument broke out after a man and a woman went to another man's apartment located in the area.

The two men got into an argument, resulting in both suffering stab wounds, police said. It is not clear who stabbed whom, and what role, if any, the woman played.

Both men were taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries, and the woman was taken to 41 Division for questioning.
