A Scarborough, Ont. man won $3.5 million in the lottery.
Zhongxu Wang bought the winning ticket in LOTTO 6/49’s draw on September 8.
“I’m very happy and surprised,” Wang said in a statement released Tuesday.
Wang said he was on the way to a restaurant to eat some dim sum when he decided to stop and check his numbers. He said he thought he was dreaming when he realized he won.
He plans to buy a new house and take care of his family.
