A section of the Yonge-University-Spadina subway line will be closed during the weekend, and a parade will close part of the Danforth on Sunday.

Events closures

A section of Danforth Avenue will be closed between Donlands and Broadview Avenuesduring the Greek Independence Day Parade, starting at 1 p.m.

Lake Shore Boulevard closures

Two westbound and two eastbound lanes will be occupied at Leslie Street all day, every day due to a TTC project.

Gardiner Expressway closures

Two lanes of the westbound Gardiner are occupied all day, every day until Aug. 1, between Spadina Avenue and Park Lawn Road. Eastbound, two lanes will be occupied from Park Lawn Road to the Humber River.

The westbound Gardiner off-ramp at South Kingsway and the Lake Shore on-ramp to the westbound Gardiner in the same area will be closed for repairs on Saturday night and Sunday morning.

The Gardiner will be reduced to two lanes between Jameson Avenue and Bathurst Street due to ongoing repairs, all day every day until June 1.

One lane of traffic in each direction will be closed from the Canadian National Exhibition grounds to Grand Magazine Street likely until May.

TTC closures and diversions

There will be no subway service between St. Andrew and Union Stations on Saturday and Sunday due to ongoing scheduled construction of the Union Station platform.

Customers heading to Union must use the Yonge portion of Line 1. All trains heading south on the University-Spadina side of the line will turn back at St. Andrew.

Those wishing to travel between sections of the subway line can take the 506 Carlton, 505 Dundas, 501 Queen and 504 King streetcars.

Regular subway service will resume Monday morning.
