There aren't many closures planned for the weekend, but some Gardiner Expressway lanes and ramps will be closed temporarily for maintenance.

Major road closures

Part of University Avenue will be closed until Feb. 6 due to construction. Northbound lanes were closed at Elm Street, just north of Dundas Street West, at 7 p.m. on Sunday. As a result of the closure, westbound traffic on Elm cannot access University Avenue until the area reopens.

Lake Shore Boulevard closures

The westbound passing lane will be occupied from Rees Street to Van De Water Crescent by tunnel construction from 9 a.m. to midnight every day until the end of February.

Gardiner Expressway closures

The eastbound Gardiner off-ramp to Lake Shore Boulevard will be closed and sections of the expressway between Grave Avenue and Brookers Lane will be occupied due to sign installation. The job is expected to last from Friday at 11 p.m. to Saturday morning at 8 a.m.

The Gardiner on-ramp at Humber River will be occupied from Friday night until Saturday morning, 11 p.m. to 11 a.m., for underside repair.

Two lanes of the westbound Gardiner are occupied all day, every day until Aug. 1, between Spadina Avenue and Park Lawn Road. Eastbound, two lanes will be occupied from Park Lawn Road to the Humber River.

The Gardiner will be reduced to two lanes between Jameson Avenue and Bathurst Street due to ongoing repairs, all day every day until June 1.

One lane of traffic in each direction will be closed from the Canadian National Exhibition grounds to Grand Magazine Street likely until May.

TTC closures and diversions

There are no major route closures planned this weekend, though there are some on-going bus route diversions caused by construction. A full list of diversions is available online.
