  • Police are investigating after a man suffering from a gunshot wound was trapped in his vehicle that crashed into a home near Kipling and Highway 401 early this morning.
  • The man convicted in the killing of Victoria Stafford seven years ago is expected to file an appeal asking for a new trial today, pinning blame on his accomplice and former girlfriend.
  • Police are asking for the help from the public to identify a suspect after a 23-year-old Toronto man was fatally shot at a party in Mississauga early Saturday morning.

WEATHER WATCH:

A high of 10 degrees and a 30 percent chance of showers are in the forecast for this cloudy fall day.

TRAFFIC WOES:

  • One lane northbound and southbound will be blocked on the Don Valley Parkway between Lake Shore Boulevard and Highway 401 from 10:00AM-2:00PM due to grass cutting maintenance.
  • The southbound lanes of Bayview Avenue will be blocked at Cummer Avenue and Elmwood Avenue from 7:00AM-5:00PM this week due to construction.
