A Toronto driving instructor is facing charges after police say a female student was allegedly sexually assaulted during lessons this summer.

Police say that between July and August 2016, a 19-year-old woman was taking driving lessons in the city of Toronto.

During that time period, police allege her instructor sexually assaulted her on two separate occasions during in-car lessons.

After launching an investigation, police say a 64-year-old man was arrested in connection with the case on Aug. 18.

The man, identified by police Toronto resident Samuel Dixon, is facing two counts of sexual assault.

Police say they are concerned there may be other victims and ask anyone with information about the case to call 416-808-4100 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 416-222-TIPS (8477).
