Peel police are seeking the public’s help to track down a vehicle involved in a deadly hit-and-run in Mississauga Saturday evening.

Police say 82-year-old Jong Joo Park of Mississauga was crossing the Goreway Drive near Morningstar Drive when he was struck by a vehicle at around 6:30 pm.

Park was pronounced dead upon arriving at hospital.

Police are looking for a white Hyundai Genesis, which may have sustained damage to its front end.

Investigators say they are unsure if weather or poor road conditions played a role in the fatal collision.
