TORONTO - Toronto police have laid more charges against a former national-level figure skater and coach accused of sexually assaulting an ex-student in the 1980s.

Police say a second former student has come forward with allegations of sexual assault against Kevin Michael Hicks, 53.

They say the male student was 12 or 13 years old at the time of the alleged incidents.

Hicks has been charged with three counts of indecent assault on a male.

He was previously charged with four counts of sexual assault and one count of buggery after another male ex-student reported being sexually assaulted between 1983 and 1990.

Investigators say the coach taught figure skating at a number of schools throughout Ontario during the 1980s, including the Woodbine Winter Skating Club, Weston Skating Club, Windsor Skating Club and Burlington Skating Club.
