Police have identified a suspect wanted in connection with the second-degree murder of a man near The Junction neighbourhood on Thursday.
The incident occurred at around 2:40 p.m. when police went to a residence near Davenport and Old Weston roads.
They located a 47-year-old man who was already dead inside. A post-mortem examination was performed the next day and the cause of death was determined to be multiple blunt-force trauma injuries.
At a news conference on Saturday morning, police said the suspect was 46-year-old Toronto resident Anthony Brake.
Brake is known to frequent areas surrounding Kensington Market, according to police.
He is described as being five-foot-nine inches tall and weighing 300 pounds. He has salt and pepper hair and a goatee.
