Police have identified two of the three people found dead in a possible murder-suicide at a Brampton home.

Two of the deceased were Hashmukhlal Mistry, 61, and Manjulaben Mistry, 57, Peel Police say.

A 91-year-old man who also died has not yet been identified.

A post-mortem will be conducted on the bodies on Tuesday, at the Ontario Coroner’s Office in Toronto.

Peel Regional Police Const. Lilly Fitzpatrick said Monday that homicide investigators were still at the scene trying to piece together what happened.

Police arrived at the house on Hinchley Wood Grove, in the Kennedy Road and Bovaird Drive area of Brampton, at approximately 10:40 a.m. on Sunday.

They were responding to a call from a concerned family member. That person was among the three found dead.

Fitzpatrick says they are speaking with neighbours in the hopes of getting more information.

Neighbours told CTV Toronto that a couple, originally from India, had lived in the house for many years. They said the female resident was a bank employee and the male was a chemical engineer.

Bibi Hamid, one of the neighbours, called them “nice people.”
