ATIKOKAN, Ont. - Provincial police say two teens are facing charges after an investigation into a so-called neknomination video posted to a social networking site.
Investigators say the activities recorded in the video involved several youth participating in dangerous activities and allegedly contravening numerous provincial laws.
Police say two boys from Atikokan have been charged.
One is charged with failure to wear a helmet and improper tow attachment, while the other is charged with underage drinking and failure to wear a helmet.
In neknomination videos participants generally are shown drinking and engaging in dangerous activity and then challenge others to do the same.
OPP officers went to a high school in Atikokan on Thursday to speak to students and teachers about the neknomination fad.
