Police say they have arrested a man they suspect headbutted a senior citizen who was out shopping at the Eaton Centre over the weekend.
The 68-year-old woman told police she was at the mall when she stopped to look inside a bag.
At that point, she was approached by someone she didn’t know and was deliberately headbutted.
The victim fell to the floor and fractured her wrist.
A suspect was arrested in connection with the alleged attack on Wednesday.
A suspect identified as Jonathan Gallant, 33, of Toronto, is facing one count of aggravated assault and is scheduled to appear in court at Old City Hall on Thursday, April 28 at 10 a.m.
The charges against the suspect have yet to be proven in court.
