Peel regional police say they have made a second arrest in connection with a double homicide in Brampton that occurred more than four months ago.

On June 6, Peel police responded to a report of shots fired at 8678 Chinguacousy Rd.

There's they found Terrence Elliott Hughes, 40, and Garth Nicholas Palmer, 29. Both men were pronounced dead at the scene. Six other people were struck by gunfire.

Most of them were treated and released from local hospitals.

More than 100 people were at the party.  According to neighbours, the farm residence had hosted its share of noisy parties in the past.

Police said in the shooting's aftermath that they were searching for one suspect.

On June 30, they arrested Mustafa Omar, 22, at his home in Toronto and charged him with second-degree murder.

On Friday, Peel detectives arrested Justin Bellinger, 21, and charged him with two counts of second-degree murder. In addition, Omar was to make a brief court appearance Friday to be charged with a second count of second-degree murder.
