A 69-year-old woman is in hospital with life-threatening injuries after being hit by a taxi while crossing a street in Scarborough.
The collision occurred just before 11:20 p.m. Sunday on Sheppard Avenue East, west of Birchmount Road.
Police said the woman was crossing Sheppard Avenue, from south to north, when she was hit by a taxi travelling west.
