A 62-year-old man has died after being struck by a vehicle in the northbound lane of Highway 404 near Sheppard Avenue early Saturday morning.
Police said the man was struck at around 12:20 a.m. on Saturday. The OPP say it is unclear why the man was walking on the highway and are investigating whether his death was a “misadventure” or accidental.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Highway 404 was closed for a police investigation and re-opened at about 3 a.m.
