The eastbound lanes of Highway 403 at Highway 6 south are closed after a collision Friday afternoon. The ramp from Hwy. 6 south to the eastbound lanes of Hwy. 403 is also closed.
Meanwhile traffic was backed up along Highway 400 south of Barrie on Friday afternoon after a vehicle fire closed lanes in both directions.
Ontario Provincial Police said the highway was closed between Highway 88 and Highway 89 after a car caught fire and threatened to explode a propane tank inside.
Emergency crews rushed to the scene to battle the blaze.
One southbound lane has since reopened, according to the OPP
On Highway 401, the westbound lanes through Highway 10 have reopened in Mississauga after a police investigation on Friday.
The Hwy. 410 ramp onto the westbound lanes was also closed.
