Ontario Provincial Police are investigating a fatal crash on Highway 401 in Milton.
The collision occurred on Highway 401 eastbound ramp toward Highway 25 at around noon Monday.
According to OPP, the vehicle was possibly driving erratically before the collision.
As officers tried to intercept the vehicle, the vehicle attempted to exit to Highway 25.
"The vehicle exited the highway through the median between the on ramps and off ramps," OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt said in a Periscope from the scene Monday.
"It actually launched over the southbound to eastbound ramp and came to a rest beyond the ramp."
A vehicle fire was involved in the incident.
A collision reconstruction team currently on the scene investigating what led to the crash.
Police are working to identify the victim.
OPP say Highway 25 southbound ramp to eastbound Highway 401 has been closed as crews tend to the scene.
