A person found dead inside a Collingwood home on New Year’s Day was murdered, police now say.
The local detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police is asking people who live around Kohl Street to look inside their garbage bins and check out their properties for any clues that could help investigators.
The person’s body was found Jan. 1 shortly after 4 p.m. after the OPP were called to a home on Kohl Street, located in between Broadview Street and Nottawa Side Road.
