A woman is dead and four people have sustained injuries after a head-on collision in Brampton.
Peel Regional Police said they received a call about a collision between two vehicles near Torbram Road and Countryside Drive at about 12:50 p.m. Sunday.
One woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
Four other patients, including one female adult, one male adult and two children, were taken to hospital with minor injuries.
Const. Fiona Thivierge, speaking to CP24 at the scene, asked anyone who may have witnessed the accident to come forard.
“We are looking for things like speed, direction of travel and whether the lights in the area were working properly and whether one or both of the parties went through a red light,” she said.
