York Regional Police have identified a woman found in Vaughan last week after sharing her story and photo with the public.
The woman, who police have not named, was identified by a tip that came in as a result of media coverage, police said.
Police found her in a plaza in the area of Highway 400 and Rutherford Road on Monday, Sept. 8 at 8 p.m.
Police and hospital workers said she seemed confused, and were unable to identify her.
