A female motorcyclist was airlifted to a Toronto hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash involving two motorcycles and an SUV near Orangeville.
A second female motorcyclist was taken to a local hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the SUV was not harmed.
The crash occurred just before 5 p.m. on Airport Road between Fifth Side Road and Highway 9 in the town of Mono.
Ontario Provincial Police say a southbound motorcycle collided with a northbound SUV. A second motorcycle was also somehow involved in the crash.
Airport Road was expected to remain closed for several hours while police investigate.
